Ability Inclusion Alliance is a dynamic, women-led community-based organization established in April 2025. Based in Nairobi County, it is dedicated to promoting and safeguarding the rights, inclusion, and well-being of persons with special needs.

The Alliance was founded by a diverse team of professionals, including special education experts, occupational therapists, physiotherapist, psychologists, nutritionist, international relations specialists, as well as individuals with disabilities and parents of children with special needs.

The organization serves as a collaborative platform, bringing together professionals, parents, caregivers, students, persons with disabilities, and other stakeholders to advocate for the rights and inclusion of vulnerable individuals.

The organization is notably led by a chairperson with lived experience of disability and as a parent of children with special needs, embodying its strong commitment to authentic representation and inclusive leadership. The Ability Inclusion Alliance remains steadfast in its mission to build an inclusive society where individuals with special needs and their families are empowered, supported, and fully integrated into every aspect of community life.
